Introduction
With the rugged tablet Q10S, Shenzhen Hosoton company now has a new rugged tablet in its product range. It has been specially designed for user needs in harsh environments and is IP67 certified. The wide application range of possible uses extends from outdoor applications such as construction sites, fire departments or rescue services to logistics and human-machine interface applications as well as use in service and maintenance.The Q10S robust windows tablet is available with either Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Android 11.
With the integrated RFID reader (optionally UHF with a reading range of up to 10 meters), machines, tools, vehicles or people equipped with corresponding tags can be detected contactlessly even from a distance for access control. The device can also uniquely recognize objects with barcode labels via the additionally installed barcode scanner. The GNSS module can also be used to determine the exact geographical position.

The Q10S equipped with Intel Celeron Jasper Lake N5100 processor provides the enough performance to run multimedia applications smoothly and without interference. The Q10S supports the latest Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise operating system to fulfill increasing industrial applications requirements and offer an alternative solution for those between general consumer-grade and extremely rugged solutions.
Real-Time Data and Wireless Connectivity
Real-time data access to the correct information is crucial for mobile workers. The Q10S offers GPS, GLONASS, WLAN, BT, and optional 4G LTE to enable robust communications anytime and anywhere. With a built-in 8MP Auto-focus Camera w/ LED Flash on the rear side, users can capture photos, videos, documents instantly or utilize the front 5.0 MP camera for applications such as self-video recording or video communications.
Fully Rugged Design in Mobile Form Factor
The new Q10S Rugged mobile computer from Hosoton combines an extremely robust design with the elegance and user-friendliness of consumer tablets. The rugged tablet is IP65 and MIL-STD-810G certified, making it not only resistant to vibrations, shocks and drops from up to 1.20 m, but also dust and splash-proof.
Brilliant 10.1" Display for outdoor works
The display offers full HD resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels) with a luminosity of 600 cd/m². The glass is tempered and has been especially anti-reflective for industrial requirements. This allows effortless reading of small displays and using the tablet in bright environments and outdoors. The display is also capacitive touch-enabled, allowing ten-finger taps and can also be used with gloves or a digitizer pen for writing.
All-round interface package integrated into the tablet
The Q10S tablet pc receives data via RJ45,RS232, dual WLAN, cellular radio, Bluetooth and USB. The optionally available docking station also provides interfaces for Ethernet, RS232 and 485 as well as USB 3.0 and 2.0. Thus, a complete workstation with keyboard and monitor can be accomplished with one plug-in. And the tablet can process location data from all common GPS systems.
Furthermore,Q10S also has additional options for a Fingerprint Reader, NFC, 1D/2D barcode scanner, or an extra USB port along with a variety of docking stations on the desk or in the vehicle.
