Introduction
The Q801 rugged tablets are housed in durable rubber, with raised corners that protect the tablet from drops and shocks. And it is MIL-STD-810G rated and IP65 waterproof rated, so rain and humidity will not damage the tablet. The Q801 also has a modular expansion port that comes standard with a RJ45 LAN port and has options for a 1D or 2D barcode scanner, a DB9 COM port, or an extra USB port. Other optional upgrade features include a fingerprint reader or NFC. These tablets also have a hot-swappable battery, so you can quickly swap a depleted battery for a charged one, and keep the tablet running 24/7.
The Q801 uses Intel® Atom™ x5-Z8350 (Cherry Trail) processor 1.44 GHz, up to 1.90 GHz with turbo boost technology with a fanless cooling system to provide stable performance and low power consumption. The Q801 supports the latest Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise operating system fulfill increasing industrial applications requirements and providing an alternative solution for those between general consumer-grade and extremely rugged solution.
Rugged design ensure the reliability in harsh environments
The Q801 was designed for the abuses of the job. Drops, shocks, spills, humidity, and rain are no match for these tablet PCs even with the isolated active fan used for cooling. The housing is made with durable PC+ABS plastic and coated with double injected rubber including raised corners for enhanced protection. The touchscreen is made with 7H scratch and shatter resistant gorilla glass.
Ready for Windows 11 based on the intel CPU
The Tablet is based on the latest Intel CPU generation, the top pick in the Hosoton products range because it's made for mainstream users who care about performance, speed and graphics. The Core i5 optional, with 8GB RAM, is suitable for most tasks, even heavy applications with SCADA HMI software.
The tablet PC runs on the Windows 10 Professional (or Windows 10 IoT Enterprise on request).
The CPU Intel Core i5 installed onboard support also the next generation of operating system by Microsoft: Windows 11.
Rich interfaces and Expansion Slots
The high performance tablet PC comes standard with multiple data collection features, including USB 3.2 ports, ethernet RJ45 port, serial RS-232 port, high-definition camera, location GPS. The charging system is distinct to the interfaces by one DC-In power jack. In addition, we offer a variety of docking station able to charge the tablet: desktop cradle, wall-mount cradle, or in-vehicle mounting.
And 1D/2D barcode scanner is optional for the rugged tablet, it will be add also a dedicated SCAN button. Otherwise we can embedded NFC reader with screen front reading, or a RFID module for reading and writing the UHF tags. We can also built-in high precision GPS and Fingerprint reader.
